I’m passionate about helping you untangle yourself from diet culture so that you can feel at home in your body after kids.

Not by following another set of food rules.

Not by tracking every bite.

And not by trying to become a different version of yourself.

But by learning how to take care of your health in a way that actually fits their real life.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed by diet myths, mixed messages, and the constant pressure to “do better,” even when they’re already doing a lot. If you want to lose weight, feel strong and capable again, and move through your days with more confidence and ease — without counting calories or constantly overthinking food — you’re in the right place.

I can help you:

Find ease with food and movement.

It all begins with education and a more compassionate, realistic approach. Whether you’ve been stuck in the cycle of dieting for years, or you never had to think much about your habits before kids and now feel lost — it’s never too late to do things differently.

Untangle yourself from diet culture.

Letting go of tracking, rigid rules, or “good versus bad” thinking can feel intimidating — especially if that’s all you’ve ever known. Together, we find the gray. We move away from extremes so you can step out of the all-or-nothing mindset that keeps pulling you back.

Become the most confident version of yourself.

Confidence isn’t just about weight loss, it’s about trusting yourself again. When your habits feel supportive instead of punishing, progress becomes something you’re proud of — not something you’re constantly second-guessing.

I help women create healthy lifestyle habits that feel sustainable — habits that eventually stop taking up so much mental space.

Food and exercise don’t need to feel complicated or consuming to be effective.

Feeling good in your body after kids shouldn’t be this hard.

Why my approach looks different

A lot of my approach comes from my own relationship with food and my body long before I became a coach.

In my 20s, I spent years tangled up in nutrition rules, diet culture, and the pressure to “do it right.” I knew a lot, but that didn’t mean I felt good.

Later on, recurring injuries and chronic pain taught me how frustrating it can be when your body doesn’t respond the way you expect — even when you’re genuinely trying.

Those challenging years shaped the way I think about health, habits, and what actually helps people change.

Strength training has long been part of how I care for my body. Last year, I added rock climbing to my routine, and it quickly became something I couldn’t stop thinking about.

After having my kids, movement often felt fragile. Progress was slow. And for a long time, I didn’t feel particularly athletic, even though I was doing many of the “right” things.

Trying something new has been humbling, awkward, and deeply rewarding.

In a culture that often ties movement to weight loss, it mattered that rock climbing served a different purpose. For me, it became about feeling strong, capable, and connected to my body again. That sense of trust is what I help my clients build too.

I don’t believe health requires perfection, intensity, or constant motivation.

I believe it requires effort that matches your capacityand support that helps you keep going when life feels full.

What my clients can expect:

  • Education that simplifies instead of overwhelms

  • Accountability that feels supportive, not punitive

  • Habits that fit real life, not an ideal schedule

Also worth knowing: I genuinely love people, but I’m not great at small talk. I’ll happily skip past “so, what do you do?” and talk deeply about habits, identity, and what actually feels hard in your life.

Meaningful conversations light me up — and they’re a big part of why coaching feels like home to me.

My Background

I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Precision Nutrition Level 2 Master Health Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, and Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach.

Before becoming a coach, I spent many years as an elementary school educator and physical education teacher. Teaching is at the heart of how I work — breaking down complex ideas, meeting people where they are, and helping them actually apply what they’re learning. That’s why education and clarity are such central parts of my coaching.

I live in Northern California with my husband and our two elementary school-aged boys.

If you’re ready for a more grounded, realistic approach to health — or you just want to ask a few questions — I’d love to connect.
